Discover Atlanta calls Downtown the heart of the city: award-winning attractions, a 4 million-square-foot convention center, sports and concerts, and walkability that makes it easy to see it all. Its listings include Centennial Olympic Park, the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola, State Farm Arena, Underground Atlanta and the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park. MARTA's Atlanta Streetcar runs between Centennial Olympic Park and the King Historic District for $1.00 one way.

What to see and do
The National Park Service says the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park is open daily 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. except Thanksgiving Day, December 25 and January 1, and that ranger-led Birth Home presentations are free, limited to 15 people and first come, first served. We publish no attraction ticket prices because we could not verify them.
Practical notes
See transportation for fares and the hotels guide for lodging taxes. Hours, prices and access rules change; confirm with each venue.
Our assessment
Use the Streetcar to link Centennial Olympic Park with the King Historic District, and ride MARTA rail to the airport and Midtown.
